Founder and director David J. Norton is an experienced hypnotherapist, psychoanalyst, counselor and coach.  David graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1975 and later received Masters degrees from University of Saint Joseph and Central Connecticut State University.  A native son of Buffalo, NY he migrated to New England where he built the Hartford Hypnosis Center in 1976.  David is a member of the Connecticut Jungian Society,  New England Society of Hypnosis and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He has been married for 36 years, has four children and three grandchildren.  He competes in Masters swimming and has coached high school swimming at the rare plateau of ASCA level 3
